She obtained her law degree from Barcelona University in June 1988 and her masters in Real Estate law from the College of Lawyers in Barcelona from where she also gained a diploma in Company Law.

She has lectured at the College of Lawyers on commercial contracts and currently directs and gives classes there as part of the course on company law.

She frequently speaks at seminars and conferences on topics concerning commercial and civil law in different institutions such as the Exhibition Centre of Barcelona, EADA, FELSAC, private institutions and town halls.

She has also written a number of articles relating to company law and commercial contracts.

Since 1988 she has been practising as a specialist lawyer in civil and commercial law with an emphasis on family run companies.

She currently holds the role of Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Commercial Law Committee at the "College of Lawyers of Barcelona", where between June 1999 and November 2002 she was also Secretary to the same committee.

She speaks Spanish, Catalan, French and English.
